THE ALBUQUERQUE THEATRE GUILD
Benefits
TO: Individual Members of the ATG
FROM: The ATG Membership Committee
RE: Membership Renewal
Date: May 1, 2008
Please take a bow! The Albuquerque Theatre Guild would like to
applaud you for your support during its first year of activity. Your
membership, together with those of more than 150 colleagues and more
than 20 theatre organizations, has given the Guild a strong start in
2007-08. This letter represents our standing ovation for you and our
request for an encore.
It’s hard to believe that our first membership year is drawing to a
close. All current memberships, including those offered at a reduced
dues level since January, are due to end on July 1, 2008. We
therefore invite you to renew your ATG membership for 2008-09 at the
earliest opportunity.
Benefits: Members are entitled to elect representatives to
the ATG Board of Directors; post résumé, headshot, notices, and
opinions on the ATG website and blog page; and participate in ATG-sponsored
events. In 2008-09, members will also receive some discounts at
performances and other events sponsored by ATG member organizations.
Please see the attachment entitled Benefits for Individual
Members.
Dues: Individuals who have joined the ATG before July 1,
2008, may renew their memberships at the 2007-08 rate of $25 for one
year or $75 for three years, provided that they renew no later
than August 1, 2008. Those who renew after that date will be
asked to pay dues of $30 for one year or $90 for three (i.e., the
rate for new members in 2008-09). Dues for student members will
remain at $15. For further information, please see the attachment
entitled Individual Membership Renewal Form.
How to Renew: Complete the Individual Membership Renewal Form
and return it with your dues payment. If you have questions, please
contact ATG Secretary Hugh Witemeyer at 268-7579 or hughwit@unm.edu.
There are many excellent reasons to renew your ATG membership now.
By acting promptly, you can save money and take advantage of
improved benefits. At the same time, you can support an organization
exclusively and passionately dedicated to promoting, advocating, and
nurturing the theatre arts in our community. You have been the
angels of a successful opening night. Encore, s’il vous plait!
Yours sincerely,
The ATG Membership Committee: Fred Schwab
(Chair), Hugh Witemeyer (Board Liaison), TJ Cardella, Cliff Garstka,
Sr., Joni Lloyd, Linda Lopez McAlister, and Hal Simons
