Front of House Manager - The Vortex TheatreBox Office/Front of House Manager Job Description
This is a hands-on position. The primary jobs of the BO/FOH Manager are:
1) to handle ticket sales and receipt balancing
2) to solicit, train, and assist volunteers who serve in FOH positions
3) to enhance the experience of the Vortex patrons
The position requires comfort with computer systems and people, the ability to multi-task, and excellent problem solving skills. A good phone technique, attention to detail, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills are important. Flexibility is a must, since this position may alter over time.
