ATG Fundraising Committee Needs You!One of the great successes of ATG recently has been our Fundraising Committee, established just about a year ago. We held an initial fundraising cocktail party, we visited with several movers and shakers in the area, we researched and wrote several grant proposals. As a result of these efforts we have received grants from New Mexico Arts, the McCune Foundation, Bernalillo County, and donations from a large number of individual contributors and a private foundation.
But our ranks are thinning. Two of our members have taken time-consuming jobs on the ATG Board and one will be out of town for an extended length of time. We're left with only four of our original seven members: Jackie Bregman, Ann Beyke, Reeve Love, and Linda Lopez McAlister.
Thanks so much!
Jackie, Ann, Reeve, and Linda
Spread the Buzz about ATG!The Albuquerque Theatre Guild's Buzz Committee is charged with getting the word out to Albuquerque and the world about our vibrant live theatre scene. We coordinate the production and distribution of the twice-yearly brochure Albuquerque Spotlight on Live Theatre. We have a Facebook page and a Twitter page that we send info out on. We see to it that press releases and calendars about our member theatres' shows go out regularly. We are starting a new campaign to attract visitors, "Plan A Day to See A Play in Albuquerque" with funding from a grant from the NM Tourism Department which Buzz Committee members wrote. We speak to groups interested in learning about ATG.
We need you!To help with all aspects of East Mountain Centre for Theatre productions.
