Synopsis:
A ghost story. A Christmas story. A story about seeing people differently and discovering that it’s never too late to change.Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol is one of the most familiar stories ever told, but beneath the Christmas cheer is something darker, stranger, and deeply human.Our production leans into the ghost story at the heart of Dickens’ tale – the shadows, memories, spirits, and supernatural forces that haunt Ebenezer Scrooge. It also embraces the heart of the story: what happens when we finally stop looking past the people around us and truly see them.Because the people Dickens places at the edges of society – those who are poor, forgotten, dismissed, or overlooked – are not background characters. They are human beings with hopes, fears, families, and needs. And Scrooge’s transformation begins when he recognizes their humanity.This A Christmas Carol is part of Albuquerque Little Theatre’s “Step into Your Story” season, exploring identity and the possibility of change. Scrooge believes he knows exactly who he is. The ghosts force him to look again.And perhaps that is the question at the heart of the story: Who are we becoming and is it too late to become someone different?

Youth Auditions
Youth actors ages 8-15 may audition during one of the following group sessions:
Saturday, October 3: 10:00-10:25 AM; 10:30-10:55 AM
Sunday, October 4: 5:30-5:55 PM
Youth Auditions will be conducted in groups of approximately ten actors.
Youth Actors will be taught a verse of “In the Bleak Midwinter” as a group and will then sing it individually. Each actor will also participate in a short reading/acting exercise.No preparation is necessary. Audition sides will be sent in advance, and scripts and music will be provided at the audition.
Adult Auditions
Auditions for actors 16+ will be held by individual 7-minute appointments:
Saturday, October 3: 11:00 AM-3:00 PM
Sunday, October 4: 6:00-9:00 PM
Please prepare up to one minute of a Christmas carol of your choice. A piano accompanist will be provided. You will also read from the script. Audition pages that may be used throughout the casting process will be sent in advance, but scripts will be provided at the audition.
Synopsis:
Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. When Cady encounters The Plastics—a trio of powerful frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George—she becomes caught in the school’s popularity hierarchy. Cady and her new friends devise a “Revenge Party” to end Regina’s reign, but Cady soon learns that taking down a queen bee can come at a cost—and that losing yourself is far more dangerous than losing a popularity contest.

DANCE CALL:
Saturday, October 10th at 12:30pm
All will be asked to attend. Bring comfortable sneakers to dance in as well as character heels (ladies) if you have them. If you tap, please also bring your tap shoes. Although a few roles don’t dance in the show, we want to get to know everyone’s personality and movement style. Walk-ins will be accepted, but we prefer you submit ahead of time.
VOCAL AUDITIONS:
Saturday, October 10th from 3-5pm (By appointment; walk-ins will be seen time permitting) Please prepare a short musical theatre song in the style of the show that showcases vocal range, acting ability, and personality/comic timing. Singing from the show is welcomed. Please bring sheet music clearly marked in a binder for our accompanist.

Cardboard Playhouse Theatre Company is looking for performers for their upcoming original production of A Very Vader Forcemas.
Auditions will be held on Wednesday, October 21st, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at the Cardboard Playhouse (6011 Constitution NE - San Pedro & Constitution).
Auditionees should prepare about a minute of a song to sing a capella.
Rehearsals are typically Monday through Thursday 6:00-8:00 pm and Saturdays from 2:00-4:00 pm.
Performances are scheduled for December 4-6, 2026 at UNM's Rodey Theatre

Synopsis:

Synopsis:
Fallen Angels is a riotous comedy. Two upper-class London couples, the Sterrolls and Banburys, have planned for a golf holiday for the men, and a shopping expedition for the women. These plans become upended when word comes that a former lover to each of the wives, long before they had married, is arriving imminently. Jealousy flares…between the wives over their ex. The result is utter mayhem.
