Based on the life of an actual historical figure, the performance is a "living history" lesson sure to delight any audience. Born in 1849 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, Yarberry lived a colorful life and ended up being Albuquerque's first elected Sheriff. Convicted of murder, he was sentenced to death by hanging on February 9, 1883. Milton J. Yarberry served as Albuquerque’s first elected Constable with the coming of the railroad in 1880.
